Microsoft retired the legacy SNDS data access key, so we've reworked how Generator Labs connects to Smart Network Data Services. New and existing connections now authenticate with a Microsoft sign-in and refresh on their own.
What Changed
The old flow relied on the automated-access key Microsoft issued for each account. Microsoft discontinued that key, so a key alone can no longer pull your reports. In its place, you authorize Generator Labs directly through your Microsoft account and grant read-only access to your SNDS data.
Connecting an Account
From the SNDS section of Blacklist Monitoring, add a connection with a display name and start the sign-in. Microsoft asks you to approve read access to your reports, then redirects to a localhost address that your browser shows as an error page. Copy that full redirect URL, paste it back into Generator Labs, and the connection completes. The first import starts within a few minutes.
Once connected, we refresh access automatically. You will not need to sign in again unless you revoke access, and monitoring resumes on its own if you re-authorize later. Each account supports up to 10 SNDS connections, each showing its status, the linked Microsoft account, and the last import time.
If You Used the Old Key
Connections created with the retired key can no longer retrieve data. Add the account again using the sign-in above to restore monitoring.
